Following its establishment of a joint-venture with Asustek Computer, Gigabyte Technology stated it will this year begin reducing the number of motherboards it outsources from Foxconn Electronics (the registered trade name of Hon Hai Precision Industry), according to a Chinese-language Economic Daily News (EDN) report.
