OCZ ProXStream 1000w Powersupply - OCZ ProXStream 1000w Powersupply
Fri, February 23 2007 | 5:39PM | PermaLink Feedback?
Therefore, it is obvious that the 1000w ProXStream power supply has been developed for the minority as only users experimenting with technologies such as quad-SLI should even consider a 1000 watt power supply. Given our extremely high-end hardware configuration was only able to consume 530w of power under maximum load, it is going to take a serious amount of additional hardware to reach the 1k figure! Another thing to consider when building such a high-end power supply is in fact power consumption, as at idle this configuration still used 410 watts of power.
