"There are a lot of things to like about the Kingwin from its excellent modular connectors, to its extremely quiet operation to its very beneficial 12v rail arrangement. However, the unit gives us some reasons to be concerned about it as a high powered solution with its poor efficiency and extremely high exhaust temperatures that subsequently can result in a shortened service life. This coupled with the high ripple/noise seen during the upper 20% of the unit's output range certainly gives pause."
