"Intel kicked off Day 2 with presentations on some of their newest technologies. The Intel X38 and P35 Express Chipsets offer support for Core 2 Duo/Quad/Extreme, but with smaller footprints due to lower power consumption over their predecessors. Both chipsets support the new 45nm CPU's, while remaining backwards compatible with older ones as well."
