If you have been reading reviews or rather leaks of Intel X38 board reviews by some sites. Some of them probably rushed it out without proper tests. In our tests, the X38 is able to overclock pretty well, just as good as P965 and the P35 chipset. In one of our tests using a E6300, we are able to run it at 530MHz x 6. With a multiplier of 7x, we we able to get it running at around 510MHz x 7. It also POSTED as high as 525MHz x 7. All on air cool.
