Intel has revealed that its next-generation "Nehalem" CPU microarchitecture is complete and that it's on track for delivery in the second half of 2008. Nehalem will pack as many as eight CPU cores onto a single die, each of which will be capable of executing two threads, allowing up to 16 threads to be executed simultaneously on a single chip.
