For the past few months we have dedicated a serious amount of time to overclocking Core 2 Duo processors on motherboards featuring the Intel P35 chipset. It has been surprising to find that even the ultra low-end boards still pack a serious overclocking punch! While the high-end options such as the ASUS P5K Deluxe do perform slightly better when it comes to overclocking, the difference is minimal. Furthermore we have found that overclocking with P35 based motherboards is quite easy really and in many ways just as easy as we found the ASUS P5N-E SLI to be.
