The cell phone market is huge and LG is
showing off its latest phones.
The LG VX940 is a 800/1900 MHz CDMA phone with a 262K TFT
display which supports a 320x240 resolution. It's mobile TV compatible, has a
microSD port, plays MP3 and WMA audio files and has an integrated 1.3MP camera.
Bluetooth allows the phone to connect to a wireless headset or other
devices.
The LG KU950 is a tri-band GSM phone (900/1800/1900 MHz) and
supports a 2.4" Wide LCD 262K colour TFT display at 240x320 resolution. The
KU950 also supports TV broadcasting as well as video/music on demand. There's
1.3MP camera/camcorder and the phone stores data through a microSD memory card.
Bluetooth 1.1 support allows the phone to connect to various bluetooth
devices.
The LG SB610 is a 1900 MHz CDMA phone and it also has a main
240x320 260K TFT display. The SB610 supports automatic channel scanning, TV
screen capture, NTSC PC-output, multitasking capabilities (TV+ Calling, TV+SMS)
as well as a 1.3MP camera.
The LG LB1500 is a CDMA phone designed for the Korean
market. It supports a 2.2" LCD display which has a resolution of 320x240 with a
wide 170 degree viewing angle. There is an integrated 1.3 MP camera and has up
to 3 hours of continous TV playback.
LG's KW9200 is a phone designed for the global market and runs
on the CDMA system. The main LCD display is 2" in size and supports 262K colour
while the secondary monitor is 1.3" in size with 65K colour support. There's a
1.3MP camera and the phone supports 512Mb SDRAM and 2Gb NAND flash memory.
The LG VX8600 is a CDMA phone targetted
towards the US market. The main screen resolution is 220x176 with 262K colour
support. The secondary display is 160x120 in resolution. There is a built in
1.3MP camera with external MicroSD support. The VX8600 also supports Bluetooth wireless technology and can be
used as a MP3 player.
The last phone is LG's enV which is a 800/1900 MHz CDMA cell
phone. The main display supports a resolution of 240x320 with 262K TFT while the
secondary display is 128x160 with 65K colours. Opening up the phone reveals a
QWERTY keypad, the enV supports a 2.0 MP camera and uses MicroSD for
storage.
