This board supports the highest end Quad Core processors. With P45, you can now use run the PCIe bus in Dual PCIe x8 and run two cards ATi cards in CrossFire mode. Near the ful length slot is a IDT chip which splits the PCIe lanes from south bridge into a 2x + 4x (in orange).
At the back of the board, you will see Quad GbE ports. There are also 10 SATA ports. There is also multiple RAID chips from Siliconimage and Jmicron for forming cascading raid arrays. The TPM 2048bits help to secure your data files.
