Elitegroup Computer Systems (ECS) has announced that it successfully turned losses into profits in 2007 booking annual consolidated revenues of NT$94.46 billion (US$3.1 billion), to generate an after tax profit of NT$856 million and an EPS (earnings per share) of NT$0.71 ECS revealed it has already received orders for second-generation Classmate PCs from vendors in China including Haier and Founder and expects shipments to reach 500,000 units in 2008, followed by a further surge in 2009.
