Although international IT shows including CES and CeBIT have seen their scales cut back, Computex 2008 is expected to attract around 35,000 buyers worldwide, increasing from 33,000 last year. Buyers from emerging markets including Russia, Brazil and the Middle East are also expected to see their numbers increase, according to the Taiwan Computer Association (TCA).
