Samsung Unveils New 24 and 25.5-inch Displays - Samsung Unveils New 24 and 25.5-inch Displays
Tue, January 22 2008 | 7:15AM | PermaLink Feedback?
"Samsung Electronics America has unveiled a new series of 24" and 25.5" displays in a press release. Samsung intends for the models to the cover all consumer and commercial related tasks. The 24" model is called the SyncMaster 2493HM , and the 25.5" flavor is called the SyncMaster 2693HM. It looks like Samsung has put some effort into these models. Both pack full 1080P resolution capability along with HDMI, d-sub, and DVI inputs. As many monitors companies have done in the past, they included a set of multimedia speakers. However, integrated sound sources are usually lacking, but are beneficial for office applications. There will be two 2-watt speakers in each monitor.
