While the new BlueTrack laser tracking engine is novel, and works fairly well, this in itself is not enough to elevate the Microsoft Explorer Mini Mouse to recommended status. The Explorer Mini attempts to be everything to everybody but ends up being a compromise that suits right-handed desktop users with small hands best. A few key omissions make this a decently executed, but flawed package.
