The move from one memory platform to another is a slow process as enthusiasts focus more on upgrading their processors or graphics cards to increase performance.
It is really only when opting for a completely new system that faster memory modules start coming into the equation but thankfully with an influx of DDR3 capable chipsets in the last year such as the nForce 790i, X48 (or even the more cost effective P45) there are plenty of options available to suit most budgets.
Today we are taking a look at two high specification DDR3 kits from Patriot and Super Talent to find out if either should be considered for consumers moving to DDR3.
