VIA Technologies, Inc, a leading innovator of power efficient x86 processor platforms, today announced the public debut of the VIA Nano processor and a host of leading edge embedded boards, peripherals and complete systems at Electronica 2008, being held in Munich, Germany on November 11-14.
Join VIA in booth A6-571 and experience the future of compact, energy-efficient x86 embedded systems. The VIA Nano processor platform will be shown powering four panel displays simultaneously in a uniquely flexible digital signage configuration that delivers Hi-Def video in tandem with a ticker tape information stream.
Board level products displayed will include the latest VIA EPIA Pico-ITX, Nano-ITX and Mini-ITX boards from VIA, including the VIA EPIA-P700, EPIA-N700 and EPIA-M700 respectively. Visitors will also be able to see the recently announced VIA EPIA-P710 Pico-ITXe board in a stackable Pico-I/O configuration, as well as the new VIA VB8001 board, the first to feature the VIA Nano processor.
System products on show include VIA VIPRO, a thin and fanless panel PC ideal for UNI interface, kiosk and fleet management applications where its IP65-compliant front panel resists dust and water. The VIA vmpc VESA-mounted PC will also be on show; its ultra thin profile and VESA mounting feature enables any standard monitor to be turned into a signage unit in minutes.
