Microsoft has finally started showing off Windows 7 to the public, revealing a new user interface and a plethora of improvements. How do Vista users feel about it, especially in light of rumors about a 2009 release time frame for the new OS? TR blogger (and Vista Ultimate user) Matt Butrovich has sounded off on the subject, saying he sees Windows 7 as a sort of Vista service pack that Microsoft will charge for. In his view, Microsoft is abandoning Vista users to their fate, but with good reason: the company needs to abandon the Vista PR failure and move on. Read on for the full rant.
