Research and consulting firm for graphics and multimedia Jon Peddie Research (JPR) announced that graphics (GPU) shipments in the third quarter totaled over 111 million units, representing gorwth of 22.5% from the 91 million GPUs shipped during the same period last year, and sequential frowth of 18% from the 94 million units shipped in the second quarter this year.
