Sat, October 11 2008 | 12:03PM | PermaLink Feedback?
Gigabyte M912, just like the Eee PC 901 and MSI Wind Notebook are based on the same Intel Atom 1.6GHz processor N270 powered by the Intel 945GSE chipset. The unit itself comes with 1GB of DDR2 and a 160GB SATA HDD. The unit comes with a 8.9" screen and a well laid keyboard with small keys. The unit we reviewed comes preinstalled with Vista Home edition In terms of connectivity, it comes with 3 USB ports, 1 LAN port, 1 D-SUB, 1 card reader, 1 megapixel camera, 802.11b/g wireless LAN. Something that differentiates the M912 from the competitors is it has a swivel touch screen which can be rotated 180 degrees. It can be used as a tablet PC with a stylus or finger.
