"The story is not quite as intriguing and well developed as the original, which might be due in part to poor translation. Even so, it is interesting enough to keep you playing. Parasite Eve 2 uses a Resident Evil type of game play, where left and right turn Aya and the forward and back buttons move her in their respective directions. This wouldn't have been such a bad choice for PE2, if not for the fact that many of the enemies move fast and you don't have time to turn and then start to run away."
