Thu, August 07 2008 | 11:04AM | PermaLink Feedback?
Early this year, we saw the wide acceptance of the IGP board from AMD, the 780G. There were lots of speculations of the 780D or the 790GX chipset. Today, we take a look at this new board based on this new north bridge the AMD 790GX. It is paired up with a newer south bridge SB750 which supports SATA II RAID 0,1,0+1,5. The Gigabyte GA-MA790GP-DS4H enhances on the 780G as it now officially supports the CrossFire X in Dual 8x configuration. Just like the 780G, it supports integrated DX10 UMA and a 128MB sideport using GDDR3 running at 667MHz. The 2 PCIe 2.0 graphics interface with ATI Hybrid Graphics™ support. There are also 6 SATA 3Gb/s & RAID 1, 0, 0+1, 5 and 12 USB ports.
