Trendnet Managed and Unmanaged Gigabit - Trendnet Managed and Unmanaged Gigabit
Sun, April 12 2009 | 6:40AM | PermaLink Feedback?
The Trendnet TEG-160WS is a lot more switch that most people need for their small office network, but it has a rich feature set and a very attractive price. While it offers many features that will likely sit idle, it does offer flow control, quality of service, port speed configuration as well as Broadcast Storm control that may help keep your network up and running at full speed if something plugged into the switch goes crazy. The TEG-S24R is probably a better fit for most growing Gigabit networks as it offers the basic functionality of a switch without any confusing configuration.
