Gigabygte GA-EX58-UD5 Motherboard - Gigabygte GA-EX58-UD5 Motherboard
Fri, March 20 2009 | 4:01PM | PermaLink Feedback?
The X58 desktop chipset exploded onto the scene last year triumphantly proclaiming itself the lone chipset solution to support the 45nm Intel Core i7 processor family. Many vendors have taken advantage of the X58 chipset craze, and Gigabyte is no exception. Their GA-EX58-UD5 offering is targeted toward PC enthusiasts and gamers with aspirations for overclocking their components.
"Gigabyte harnessed a lot of different technologies when they built the GA-X58-UD5. While the board didn't wow us against other comparable X58 boards on the market, it did show us flashes of brilliance that should entice its fair share of consumers. The Gigabyte brand itself is really pinning itself against ASUS for the top spot in the motherboard industry."
