Intel has recently started supplying its Atom N270 processor to white-box netbook vendors in China, according to a Chinese-language Commercial Times report. Since the N270 is priced only US$15 and US$5 higher than VIA's C7-M and Nano processors, respectively, some local first-tier PC vendors in China including Founder, Lenovo and Haier are also considering expanding their Atom-based netbook shipments, the paper claimed.
