With the X25-E Intel presents a SLC (Single Level Cell) based SSD
with blistering fast performance figures. Throughtput regarding reading
should be up to 250 MByte/s and writing still up to 170 MByte/s.
Furthermore Intel claims an average access time of 75 microseconds.
These figures really let us hope that the last bottle neck in modern
computers becomes history.
