While the performance didn't blow me away, I was quite pleased to see the Phenom II edge out the Phenom when running at identical clock speeds. This shows that AMD can improve a good processor, and while it's not anywhere close to an i7 killer (or contender for that matter), the Phenom II has come a long way from the original Phenom that had major issues. . .
