Asustek Computer has announced consolidated revenues of NT$16.1 billion (US$484.74 million) for December 2008, NT$67.6 billion for the fourth quarter of 2008, and NT$266.9 billion for the whole year.
The company shipped 22 million motherboards, 5.8 million notebooks and 4.9 million Eee PCs in 2008.
Meanwhile, Gigabyte Technology has announced consolidated revenues of NT$2.2 billion for December, drops of 24.42% on month and 45.36% on year, while consolidated revenues for the year were NT$47.73 billion, a drop of 7.62% on year. The company shipped 900,000-950,000 motherboards and 150,000 graphics cards in December
Micro-Star International (MSI) has announced non-consolidated revenues of NT$6.06 billion, drops of 41.15% sequentially and 26.83% on year. The company's revenues in 2008 reached NT$100.31 billion, a growth of 9.04% on year.
Elitegroup Computer Systems (ECS) announced consolidated revenues of NT$7.12 billion, an increase of 12.12% on month, but a drop of 21.1% on year. The company's consolidated revenues in 2008 reached NT$89.2 billion, a drop of 4.9% on year.
ECS shipped 1.43 million motherboards in December and 20.91 million units in 2008. The company also shipped three million notebooks in 2008.
