Still this means that the Phenom II X4 940 is going to come in at around the same price as the Core 2 Duo E8600 and if I were given the option of these two processors I know which one would get the nod. For the most part the Phenom II X4 940 proved to be the superior processor delivering better real-world application performance and even better gaming performance.
