"Wild Rumors? Total heresy? Unfounded information? - It is amazing what you
can get when you take on of Electronic Arts' grunt-worker cronies, a 26 oz
bottle of Irish Whiskey, a length of rubber hose, a phone book, and a broom
closet...
With everyone awaiting the new EA James Bond title "The World Is Not
Enough", little is being said about other James Bond games in the works...
I am here to tell you about another James Bond game EA has in the works that
is more top secret (To EA anyhow) than the usage of the Quake 3 Engine for
"The World is not Enough"
James Bond Racing (The title could change to something more flashy heh) is
being developed with about 30% of the Need For Speed 5 engine. Any old "Spy
Hunter" fans out there? James bond racing will (apparently) be based
somewhat on this wonderful old title as well. The EA grunt, barely able to
speak after the 'beatings', told me that we can expect to see multiplayer
included, and I for one can't wait to unleash a smokescreen and some poor
fool coming up behind me who thinks to pass me for the lead.
Again I have hunted around to try to confirm this as other than the drunken
ramblings of an EA crony who was put under the light, (He/She might have
said anything to get out of THAT situation) but I was unable to confirm this
anywhere. Here at Broken Pixel we tried to get some info from our contacts
at EA, but they claimed to know nothing at all either - and they weren't up
for the visit to the broom closet.
Rumor or not, I would really like to see this game come to fruition, and if
there is no such game in the works, maybe someone will listen up and make
one."
