VIA Technologies, after having its PC2500 platform adopted as part of the POS (point of sale) system to be used during the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games, as well as an expected increase in shipments of the company's Nano processors in July and August, market watchers expect the Taiwan-based chipmaker will enjoy a sequential revenues growth of around 50% in the third quarter this year, according to a Chinese-language Economic Daily News (EDN) report
