Firstly, let's take a look at the specifications of this board. This board supports the Intel Core i7/i5 processor with Intel turbo boost technology. It is powered by Intel P55 Express chipset and supports up to 4 DIMM of a max of 16GB of DDR3-2133 (OC)/1600/1333/1066 Non-ECC, Un-buffered memory or XMP. The board supports 6 SATAII ports with Intel matrix supporting RAID 0,1,5,10. The on boad Jmicron JMB368 supports 1 channel (2 PATA IDE devices). In addition, there is the Marvell 88SE9123 SATA3 controller supports two ports of SATA 6.0Gb/s (grey) ports. In addition, there is Dual GbE featuring AI NET2 and teaming. Audio is supported by 10 channel HDA Codec from VIA VT2020. 1394 is supported by VIA 6308P chipset on board. There are also 12 USB ports (4 at mid board, 8 at back panel) supported by the Intel P55 chipset itself. For system stability, the board features a 32+3 phase power design, 32 phase for vcore and 3 phase for memory controller inside CPU.
