Today Intel introduced a new CPU. The Core i7-975 XE is the new high-end processor for the socket LGA-1366. PC Games Hardware tested the Core i7-975 XE and compared its performance in four popular games (Crysis, Call of Duty 4, World in Conflict and Race Driver Grid) with the performance of the Intel Core 2 Quad QQ9650 and the AMD Phenom II X4 955 BE. Furthermore the overclocking capabilities of the CPU have been checked.
