Since 1999, we have been developing the BIOS Optimization Guide, affectionately known as the BOG. From a meagre beginning of a single page, it now covers over 440 BIOS options. As old BOG readers will know, we started offering two editions of the BOG since Revision 8.0 - a simplified edition and the complete edition.
Normally, the complete edition is only available to subscribers who help sponsor the development of the guide through a small fee. However, that changes today! From now on, we will post a BIOS option from the complete edition of the BIOS Optimization Guide every weekend.

Glacialtech X-Wing Notebook Cooler Review |

“Overall the Glacialtech X-Wing Notebook Cooler is an undisputed winner in the looks department, however not so much in the cooling department. The quality of the build and innovative features built-in to the front panel make it very user friendly. Unfortunately because of the lack of cooling power, it's very hard for me to recommend this. I just know that geeks with gaming laptops love lights and gadgets and they'll be wanting to add this under their hot laptops. However it would do little good. The cooling power is anemic. My suggestion to Glacialtech would be to dramatically beef up the cooling system with something like a large, quiet 200mm fan centered in the unit.”
