AMD is announcing two new dual-core processors today, one based on the Phenom II architecture... the other branded under the Athlon II series. As such let me reveal the names, AMD launches their AM3 socket 45nm process based Athlon II X2 250 and Phenom II X2 550 BE.
Athlon II X2 250 at 3.0 GHz for 87 USD
Phenom II X2 550 BE at 3.1 GHz for 102 USD
Have a peek at the two new AMD goblins which both deliver a surprising and compelling amount of performance for at the sub 100 USD level.

There are a lot of hard drive enclosures out there. No, really! Go punch "USB HDD enclosure" into Google or NewEgg some time, you'll be buried in them. This makes it rather hard for any one enclosure to have much success. Generally, the only way to stand out is to make it a funny shape, or offer some unusual feature. IN-WIN have decided to do both with the AMMO 2.5" HDD enclosure, shaping it like the magazine of an AR-15 and offering hardware-based encryption with RFID token-based access.
