"One of the more common types of notebook computers that people shop for are the multimedia variety. These machines can be used as your typical PC for work and play, but have features that are aimed at the user who enjoys watching online video and movies on the notebook frequently. Today I am looking at the Gateway NV59C09u notebook. At first glance, the 15.6-inch screen might make the machine look more like your typical all around notebook. However, Gateway has put a HD capable GPU and a Blu-ray player inside the Gateway NV59C09u to attract the multimedia user who likes to watch movies, too. Read on for all of the details on the Gateway NV59C09u notebook."

"Computex Taipei 2009: Now that GIGABYTE has its next generation of boards heading to the market it's time to upgrade the software that the company comp compliments its boards with.

www.pcstats.com
The first big thing we saw at the 101 suite was Smart 6. This software is a Windows GUI that gives you the ability to store certain information within the DUAL BIOS chipset. What this gives you is the ability to store passwords as well as monitor system access from a BIOS level which doesn’t depend on the OS. If your Windows install dies, you can still recover this data from the BIOS itself once Windows is back onine."
