Asustek Computer may have delayed taking some of its workforce off the payroll for a few weeks, but for the up to 500 workers who were originally expected to be laid off in April, only a few will be still at the company at the end of June, and none are expected to remain in early July, according to sources at the company. Under a revised schedule, layoffs will proceed gradually, with around 90 workers per week let go.
