BIOSTAR X58 TPower Motherboard Review - PCstats.com BIOSTAR X58 TPower Motherboard Review
Sun, July 25 2010 | 9:02AM | PermaLink Feedback?
The cool thing about BIOSTAR motherboards is that they are generally less well known than some of the other motherboard manufacturers on the market, allowing them to try to differentiate themselves by bundle, features and performance… The TPower X58 is a decent version of the X58 chipset with good performance and an ok featureset. Where this board shines is in the overclocking department with high overclocking achieved. The performance of the board is excellent with high marks throughout.

Digitimes reports that attendance at Computex 2009 is expected to be less than the show hosts, the Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TETDC) and Taipei Computer Association (TCA) originally forecast after incidents of swine flu H1N1 were recently reported in in Taiwan. A hundred-person group from Mexico has already informed organizers that they will not attend the show, and the number of buyers from the US and Japan is also expected to see a sharp drop. Several overseas exhibitors are reported to have also recently cancelled their plans to set up booths, prompting TETDC and TCA to arrange another Taiwan Excellence Pavilion to fill the space, according to industry sources. TETDC commented that it has already taken measures to protect visitors from disease. The organization declined to give an estimate number of visitors, saying it is still processing the figures. Although the number of overseas buyers may be down, Taiwan IT players noted that they do not expect to see an impact on orders, since most orders have already been processed through the Internet.
