Seagate Backup Plus Slim External USB 3.0 2TB Hard Drive Review
MSI GeForce N260GTX Lightning 1792 MB review - MSI GeForce N260GTX Lightning 1792 MB review
Wed, May 13 2009 | 1:44PM | PermaLink Feedback?
MSI has released two new GeForce GTX 260 video cards. The first one being the MSI N260GTX Lightning, and the second one a N260GTX Lightning Black Edition. These probably are the most feature rich GeForce GTX 260 videocards you can find on the web. First off, MSI N260GTX Lightning has twice the standard GeForce GTX 260 GDDR3 memory summing up to an incredible 1792 MB, and then utilizes a Twin Frozr cooling with heatpipes, dual slot heatsink and two big fans. The card design is Phase PWM, with 8 phases are reserved for the GPU and 2 phases for the memory. Furthermore, this graphics card has important overclocking features like V-Check points to measure the voltage. We'll test the most exclusive version, with an external overclock panel called the AirForce panel.

MSI GX740 17-inch Gaming Notebook - MSI GX740 17-inch Gaming Notebook

"One of my favorite categories of notebooks are the gaming machines. They remind me a lot of sports cars; you get more power than most sane people really want, enough style to keep people staring at you and a price tag that reflects the premium nature of the product. Today I am looking at the MSI GX740-079US gaming notebook. From here on out I will simply call it the MSI GX740. If the MSI GX740 were a car, it would be the Mustang GT. Like the Mustang, the MSI GX740 offers 95% of the performance you get from machines costing two times or more than its asking price."
