That is until you run into the GeForce GTX 275 vs. GeForce GTX 285 comparison, that sees the later part costing around 35% more. That is bad news for the GeForce GTX 285, as it was at best just 15% faster, while for the most part a 5% performance margin separated these two products. The GeForce GTX 275 really has put the squeeze on the GeForce GTX 285, and at $260 US it is the perfect counter for the Radeon HD 4890.
