Dubbed “Fusion”, this technology aims not only to provide affordable solutions across multiple platforms, AMD also intends to raise the bar of the baseline PC experience by delivering better performance and efficiency than their competitors. It is not a simple plan but is part of a multi-pronged push by AMD to increase market share, taking advantage of the momentum provided by the success of their DirectX 11 GPUs introduced last year.
