A review on the Radeon HD 6850 and 6870 from HIS certainly isn't unpleasant we think. Both cards are positioned in the mid-range segment, but really are very strong competitors. The 6870 from HIS at this moment remains a reference product, but that 6850 already comes served with a side dish of unique cooler and custom PCB design.

NVIDIA's GeForce GTX 470 was announced a few weeks back - now we got the first production sample of the card from ASUS. Compared to the GTX 480 we saw much more reasonable power consumption numbers as well as fan noise and heat.
