"Processors with unlocked multipliers are sort of like the Holy Grail of overclocking. AMD’s Black Edition (BE) chips, similar to the Intel K series, offer this versatility to enthusiasts. Recently, AMD introduced several new processors and one of these is the Phenom II X2 560 BE. This is just a small increase in stock multiplier above the existing Phenom II X2 555 BE processor (16.5 vs. 15) and a small increase in price ($105 vs. $88), but the silicon should be stronger which should result in better overclocking and core unlocking."

NVIDIA GeForce GTX 480 Overclocking with Voltage Adjustment |

"The fact that MSI offered Voltage Adjustment to the new GeForce GTX 480 video card in the release though, very much does. Voltage Adjustment on video cards has become such a big thing these days; companies offering such good cooling options mean that the video cards can handle a bit more voltage, which in turn is offering some outstanding performance increases.
MSI have done extremely well; anyone who's overclocking is using their software and in every screenshot you're seeing the MSI logo, no matter what card you're using. A constant flow of updates and people wanting to get the most out of a video card means we're seeing it so often. These days when someone asks what do I use to overclock my video card the chances are they're being told MSI Afterburner."
