There's little debate, if you took a poll of the notebook-toting business community, with respect to what the most popular workhorse machine has been over the past decade or more, the response would likely be the Lenovo (formerly IBM) ThinkPad.
It almost sounds a little over-the-top actually but Lenovo is celebrating their 60 millionth ThinkPad sold (you're reading that right, they're apparently the McDonalds of notebooks... at least volume-wise) by announcing updates to three ThinkPad models. In addition, they're also unveiling their latest ThinkPad T410s machine, now infused with NVIDIA Optimus graphics switching technology.
We caught up with Lenovo at a recent event in New York city and once again came away impressed with Lenovo's implementation and the innovation they bring to NVIDIA's exsiting Optimus solution. Not only was this the first notebook we've seen running both the integrated IGP and discrete NVIDIA GPU simultaneously but it's also first time we've seen a notebook capable of driving three external monitors, as well as the notebook's LCD simultaneously.
