Gigabyte and Asustek aim for strong USB 3.0 product shipments in 2010 |

Gigabyte Technology vice president of motherboard business Henry Kao, at the recent USB-IF forum, pointed out that the company expects to ship a total of five million USB 3.0 motherboards by the end of 2010, which will account for 25-35% of the company's total brand motherboard shipments, while Asustek Computer vice president Tony Chen noted that the company will see 25-35% of the notebooks it expects to ship in 2010 support USB 3.0.
