AMD Phenom II X4 970 Black Edition - PCstats.com AMD Phenom II X4 970 Black Edition
Thu, November 25 2010 | 4:03PM | PermaLink Feedback?
'It has been ten months since AMD released a new Phenom II X4 CPU. In that time, they have released a couple dual-core and hex-core processors. Today AMD is releasing six new AM3/AMD2+ CPUs, including the Phenom II X4 970 Black Edition which we are taking a look at in this review. Clocked at 3.5GHz and coming equipped with 6MB of L3 Cache, the 970 BE has an unlocked multiplier for overclocking goodness. This processor continues the Deneb series, and is of the 125W variety. This CPU is plenty fast out of the box, and a little tweaking brought quite a bit of extra speed to the unit. Continue on for all the juicy details.'

Cooler Master NotePal ErgoStand Notebook Cooler Review - PCstats.com Cooler Master NotePal ErgoStand Notebook Cooler Review
Tue, April 13 2010 | 4:03PM | PermaLink Feedback?
"Cooler Master announced the release of the latest addition to their extensive notebook cooling range just a few weeks ago and it is with great pleasure that we bring you the NotePal ErgoStand, a device which combines the traditionally seperate functions of a desktop notebook stand and an active cooler. Sporting a single massive 140mm fan the NotePal ErgoStand certainly looks to be well equipped to tame the hottest running notebooks. Add to that an impressive range of additional features along with Cooler Master's renowned attention to detail and design flair, and you have the makings of a fantastic bit of kit - let's hope it performs as well as it's specifications suggest it should!"
