Despite Intel promoting its Atom processors aggressively to persuade PC vendors to adopt the platform for their tablet PCs and is set to launch its next-generation Oak Trail platform with even lower power consumption and better heat dissipation to improve the user experience, sources from notebook players have noted that the Atom and Windows combination will not be their priority, with most instead focusing on ARM with Android designs for the tablet PC market.
