"The DataTraveler Ultimate 3.0 has read speeds of 80MB/sec and 60MB/sec for writes when using USB 3.0 and 30MB/sec for both read and write operating on a USB 2.0 connection. In case you were wondering; yes it is backwards compatible with USB 2.0 connectors. Depending on the power output of the USB 2.0 connection, you may need to use the included Y-split cable for powering the DataTraveler Ultimate 3.0. "

The key to a solid systems foundation is in the quality of the power being distributed through it. There are a number of top level OEM companies like FSP and Top Power that pretty much build the majority of the power supplies on the market currently. Seventeam is new to the US market but their power supplies are not; some SilverStone PSU’s were actually manufactured by Seventeam. Seventeam has been around for a number of years but we are just starting to see them creep into the US market and with power supplies boast Japanese capacitors I am sure they will be warmly welcomed to the power hungry westerners.
