Seagate Backup Plus Slim External USB 3.0 2TB Hard Drive Review
Sapphire Radeon HD5830 1GB - Sapphire Radeon HD5830 1GB
Fri, April 09 2010 | 12:00PM | PermaLink Feedback?
“Between ATI's Radeon HD5850 and HD5770 is a gap in terms of performance and price in their lineup. Looking to close that gap is the Radeon HD5830. Sounds pretty simple, but there is a catch. The catch here is the 5830 isn't a new card, not at least in the traditional sense. Instead, ATI has recycled a piece of their current lineup in order to fill the need, and the 5830 is essentially a neutered 5870 that couldn't pass strict binning criteria. Sapphire has taken the 5830, installed a heatsink with some heatpipes, slapped on a Modern Warfare 2 sticker, and tossed in a free copy of the game. Let's take the Sapphire Radeon 5830 1GB for a spin and see how it stacks up against the competition.”

Force Unleashed 2 (PC) Review - Force Unleashed 2 (PC) Review
Fri, December 10 2010 | 12:01PM | PermaLink Feedback?
The Force Unleashed 2 has a lot of improvements over its predacessor. The controls are greatly improved, and the storyline is compelling, but perhaps not as much as the original game. The Achilles Heel of this game is that it is painfully short... as in you can finish it in 5 hours short. I thought the gamplay of the original FU was short at about 12 hours, but this is absolutely ridiculous for a full-priced game. Studios like to blame poor sales numbers on piracy, but a large part of these financial woes could be that people don't want to spend $50 for a five-hour experience. How can a studio expect to make money when every single review of their game advises consumers to just rent it. No studio can make huge sales numbers when the only copies sold are to GameFly.
