A couple of weeks ago HT4U.net analyzed the power consumption of Intel’s socket 1156 CPUs. At this time several issues prevented a final conclusion. After going to the lab again HT4U.net can now draw a full picture of the Core i7-CPUs and their power consumption. On top of this, the review also measures X58 and H57 chipsets and the dual-cores with integrated graphics.
