Ex-Elitegroup Computer Systems (ECS) chairman Johnson Chiang reportedly recently invested in second-tier PC maker Shuttle. Chiang has previously invested in second-tier motherboard maker Biostar Microtech International, leading to industry speculation that his involvement may trigger cooperation between the two.
