Another Consumer Electronics Show has come to a close and as always we
learned about many new technologies and products that will keep us busy in
2010. We saw more than our fair share of Intel H55 and H57-based
motherboards from a variety of vendors and saw more industry support for
USB 3.0 and SATA 6GB/s in the way of USB 3.0 PCIe cards, third-party
onboard controllers, and an explosion of SATA 6GB/s SSDs. I'm sure these
two interfaces will definitely have an impact throughout the first quarter
as well as the rest of the year.
